2. Description of Service
CryptKit provides free, browser-based cryptography tools including password generators, strength checkers, encryption utilities, hash generators, and authentication tools. All tools operate entirely in your browser — no data is sent to any server.
3. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The tools will be error-free or uninterrupted.
- The cryptographic outputs meet any specific security standard.
- The Service will be compatible with all devices and browsers.
You are solely responsible for verifying the security of any password, key, or cryptographic output before use.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall CryptKit, its operators, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of funds, or security breaches.
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use CryptKit:
- For any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- To generate or manage real cryptographic keys for high-value assets without proper security review.
- To infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
- To attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
The content, design, and code of CryptKit are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission, except as allowed by applicable open-source licenses.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
